Hello World — First Post From the Terminal

Why I built my personal site as a terminal, and what's coming next.

Hello World

If you're reading this, you found the blog. Good command-line instincts.

I built this site as a terminal because that's where I spend most of my time. No fancy animations, no hero sections with stock photos, no cookie banners. Just a prompt and a cursor.

What I'm Working On

I'm building TrueMemory, a persistent memory layer for AI agents. The idea is simple: AI should remember what matters across sessions, projects, and machines. Not through brute-force context windows, but through biomimetic encoding that mirrors how human memory actually works.

The company behind it is Sauron — we're building the infrastructure for AI that actually knows you.

Why a Terminal Site

A few reasons:

  1. It's honest. This is what I look at all day. A terminal site says "I build things" without having to say it.
  2. It's fast. No JavaScript framework overhead for content that's mostly text.
  3. It's memorable. You'll remember the site where you typed commands.

What's Next

More posts about AI memory, the engineering behind TrueMemory, building as a solo founder, and whatever else I feel like writing about.

Type social in the terminal to find me online.
